LENUS

LENUS is an irish online repository of health-related reports, research and official publications from 1960 to the present day that has been compiled by staff a the Regional Library & Information Service in Dr. Steevens' Hospital in Dublin. LENUS includes policy evaluation documents, official publications, clinical research and statistics. Authors can also submit their original research to the repository. LENUS is a searchable repository and includes documents from the former Irish Health Boards, the Health Service Executive and Department of Health and Children. It is an important resource for health professionals, policy makers, academics, librarians, students and the general public. A lot of the material in LENUS is being made available online for the first time.

E-Resources Access

The Server Room Re-fit is now completed. We will start moving the equipment back into the server room this week.
We will be doing this in stages the first stage will be the EzProxy server which will have an impact on E-Resources Access. The rest of the week we will move all the servers except for the LMS.
The LMS will be moved NEXT WEDNESDAY, we will email out confirmation of the LMS move.


From 8.30am to 2pm Wednesday 29th July there will be limited access to Library E-Services

eLibrary

eLibrary NHS Scotland is thought of as one of the best sites for guidelines that are appropriate to Ireland. It includes open access content on clinical guidelines, policy documents, critically evaluated evidence based websites and more.
